Is chivalry dead.
As fair maidens venture forth, searching for the Holy Grail of gender equality.
Is chivalry dead.
As women storm the bastions of male power and aggression.
Is chivalry dead.
As women shield themselves from sexual predators
Is chivalry dead.
As women armour themselves against servitude in foreign lands.
Is chivalry dead.
No.
Chivalry is alive.
Turned into mutual respect.
The battle is not yet won.
But the tide has turned.
Men and women marching together.
Under one flag.
Today, March 8, is International Woman’s Day. This is one mans hope for the future.
Amen!

Thanks Reena. I wasn’t sure if I was going to attempt this. Thinking it’s for women only. But than I thought, why not.

Male writers do write about women, and vice versa 😀 It is interesting to see different perspectives.

You’re welcome Chelsea. I can picture you in shining armour going on a quest. With your boys as squires, carrying your sword and shield……and polishing your armour till it shines.

Thanks. I’m not sure why all men don’t. It’s such an easy choice.

Perhaps ego refrains men from accepting. Beautiful take, full of hope.
